Job Description:

As a vegetable agronomist, you will play a crucial role in the Syngenta field production research team. Your key responsibilities will include: 

✔ Conducting field trials to test new hybrid and open-pollinated vegetable varieties. 

✔ Implementing and optimizing crop management techniques to improve seed production. 

✔ Collaborating with farmers and production teams to ensure the adoption of best agricultural practices. 

✔ Collecting, recording, and analyzing field research data to support decision-making. 

✔ Identifying disease and pest issues affecting crop performance and recommending effective management strategies. 

✔ Ensuring that production meets Syngenta’s quality standards and regulatory requirements. 

Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

✔ Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture, agronomy, seed science, or a related field. 

✔ Experience: Prior experience in seed production, field trials, or agronomic research is preferred. 

✔ Skills: Strong understanding of crop management, data collection, and analysis. 

✔ Location Flexibility: Willingness to work in field-based roles and travel to different agricultural sites. 

✔ Communication & Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with farmers, researchers, and production teams.
